Selling Rough Diamonds in Dubai
A new and innovative way to buy and sell diamonds in the new and innovative
trading centre. Global Diamond Tenders DMCC is working with the DDE (Dubai
Diamond Exchange) to establish regular sales and tenders of rough in Dubai. The
first of these was in January 2005.
Based at the new iconic DMCC Almas Tower (office 39F)., we act as a transparent
channel through which independent miners / suppliers sell their goods directly to end
users for a full and fair price. The operation moved to Almas Tower at the beginning
of 2009. The Kimberley Process, Brinks and Transguard all have offices based at
Almas Tower. There is also a diamond boiling facility for cleaning rough and polished
based at Almas Tower.
Over the years a tender has proved to be the favoured approach to selling rough
since it gives the smaller producers the best chance to maximise their price, whilst
offering the larger producers a very cost effective and accurate price point
comparison. End user manufacturers from all of the major cutting centres are invited
to participate at these tenders
on which we publish news regularly.
We have an extensive list of buyers from the UAE, Bombay, Surat, Ahmedabad, New
York, Tel Aviv, Antwerp and the Far East, giving suppliers access to reliable and
legitimate buyers throughout the world as well as the chance to trade in the unique
and innovative environment in Dubai.

For those who prefer face-to-face negotiations, Global Diamond Tenders DMCC will
invite individual buyers to purchase parcels directly from suppliers.
GDT has sold diamonds for numerous mining Companies including Gem
Diamonds,Ekapa Minerals Kimberley, KDM(Kao mine Lesotho), Striker Resources,
Al Maha Mining, Sengamines and African Gold and Diamonds.
GDT also sells an exclusive range of unusual fancy colour polished all with Gia
certificates. |
